From global operations to women's health systems.
Désirée Sprauve is a healthcare strategist and systems thinker advancing women's and maternal health. She consults with universities, corporations, and organizations on evidence-informed programs, policy, and systems that improve outcomes, grounded in culturally pluralistic approaches to care.
Her path into healthcare began after nearly a decade in aerospace and automotive, where she led a nine-figure global strategy across the U.S., Brazil, Japan, China, and South Korea. As a former full-spectrum doula, she has supported 2,000+ women worldwide through health education, speaking, and workshops.
Her own reproductive health journey, the global maternal mortality crisis, and her mother's life-threatening complications at Désirée's birth moved her from corporate to women's health.
She is a graduate of Howard University School of Business and is pursuing a dual graduate degree in Medical Anthropology and Public Health (Health Policy) at UNC Charlotte. She was raised in New York City, with roots in the US Virgin Islands and Jamaica.
